Start with the big wins

- Disable auto‑fill for payment details if you share your computer.
- Review extensions and remove anything you don’t fully trust.
Chrome / Edge
- Turn on enhanced tracking protection / tracking prevention.
- Review site permissions (camera, mic, location) and remove what you don’t need.
- Limit “Allow sites to send notifications” — it’s a common spam vector.
